1. Data controller

The data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (the «General Data Protection Regulation» or «GDPR») and the Data Protection Act 2018 (Ireland) is:

NeonTraderEdu Ltd
14–15 Sir John Rogerson's Quay
Dublin 2, D02 Y062
Ireland

Email: info@neontraderedu.xyz
Phone: +353 1 563 8924

For any questions relating to the processing of your personal data, please contact us using the details above.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the website neontraderedu.xyz and all related subpages operated by NeonTraderEdu Ltd.

NeonTraderEdu is an educational platform dedicated to financial literacy, personal finance, market analysis, and online courses. The website does not provide financial products, investment services, or personalised financial advice.

This policy describes how, for what purposes, and on what legal bases we process personal data of visitors who use the website or the contact services made available on it.

3. Categories of personal data processed

In connection with your use of the website, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

  • Data you provide voluntarily: name, email address, subject line, and message content submitted through the contact form or by email.
  • Navigation and technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, date and time of access, referring and destination URLs, pages visited, session duration, and technical identifiers generated by the server.
  • Data obtained through cookies and similar technologies: consent preferences (for example, the choice stored in cookieConsent or in localStorage), advertising and analytics identifiers, device information, and browsing behaviour. Further details are set out in our Cookie Policy.
  • Communication data: the content of correspondence with the data controller and associated metadata (date, time, and channel used).

Where data fields in the contact form are marked as required, providing that information is necessary for us to process your enquiry. Without it, we cannot respond to your message. Browsing the website involves the processing of technical data required for the platform to function.

4. Purposes and legal bases for processing

We process personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Handling contact enquiries — to respond to questions, editorial suggestions, and information requests submitted by users. Legal basis: steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or the legitimate interests of the controller in managing incoming messages (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Operating, securing, and maintaining the website — to ensure proper service operation, prevent abuse, diagnose technical errors, and protect IT infrastructure. Legal basis: legitimate interests of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal obligations — to meet tax, accounting, administrative, or regulatory requirements imposed by competent authorities. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Aggregated statistics and traffic analysis — to understand how the website is used and to improve educational content, where required, after prior user consent. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Display advertising and editorial monetisation — to show advertisements through Google AdSense and authorised partners, where required, after prior user consent. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Storing cookie preferences — to remember the user's choices regarding cookies and tracking. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for non-essential cookies; legitimate interest or technical necessity for strictly necessary cookies.

Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object at any time by contacting the data controller, unless compelling legitimate grounds exist that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.

5. Google AdSense and other third-party providers

The website uses Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to show relevant ads, measure their effectiveness, and limit how often they are displayed.

Google may process data such as IP addresses, device identifiers, browser information, and browsing behaviour. This processing may take place as an independent controller or as a processor, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and information on advertising partners.

Google advertising preferences can be managed at adssettings.google.com or through the Your Online Choices portal for European options.

In addition to Google, the website may use hosting providers, traffic analytics services, and security tools. These entities process data solely on behalf of the controller as processors under Article 28 GDPR, or as independent controllers for processing necessary to provide their own services.

6. Processing methods and security measures

Personal data is processed by electronic and telecommunications means, in a manner closely linked to the purposes stated above and always in a way that ensures appropriate security and confidentiality.

NeonTraderEdu Ltd implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, periodic backups, and security updates to infrastructure.

Data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, except where such processing is carried out by third parties (for example, Google) in connection with personalised advertising, following your prior consent.

7. Recipients and data transfers

Personal data may be disclosed to:

  • authorised employees of NeonTraderEdu Ltd, who are appropriately trained and bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • IT, hosting, website maintenance, and technical support service providers;
  • Google LLC and other advertising or analytics partners, to the extent consent has been given;
  • legal, tax, or administrative advisers, where necessary;
  • public authorities, where required by law.

Some recipients may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the United States of America. In such cases, transfers take place on the basis of adequacy decisions of the European Commission, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR), or other safeguards provided for under applicable law.

8. Retention periods

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law:

  • Contact messages: up to 24 months after correspondence ends, unless litigation or other legal obligations arise.
  • Navigation data and server logs: up to 12 months, unless longer retention is necessary to establish facts relating to criminal offences or to defend the controller's rights in court.
  • Cookies and consent preferences: as set out in our Cookie Policy, generally up to 24 months for persistent cookies or until consent is withdrawn.
  • Data processed for legal obligations: for the duration required by applicable regulations (for example, accounting and tax obligations).

When retention periods expire, data will be deleted, anonymised, or permanently rendered inaccessible.

9. Your rights as a data subject

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

  • Access — obtain confirmation as to whether your data is being processed and receive a copy of it.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data.
  • Erasure («right to be forgotten») — request deletion of your data in the circumstances provided by law.
  • Restriction — request limitation of processing in certain situations.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, where applicable.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including associated profiling.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, you may send a request to info@neontraderedu.xyz with the subject line «GDPR Rights». We will respond within one month, with a possible extension of up to two further months in complex cases, in accordance with Article 12 GDPR.

10. Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

For Ireland, the competent authority is the Data Protection Commission (DPC):

21 Fitzwilliam Square South
Dublin 2, D02 RD28
Ireland
Website: dataprotection.ie
Email: info@dataprotection.ie

You may also seek to enforce your rights before the competent Irish courts.

11. Children

The website is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. NeonTraderEdu Ltd does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 16 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. If we become aware of unlawful processing, we will ensure immediate deletion of the relevant data.

12. Data Protection Officer

NeonTraderEdu Ltd has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as the volume and nature of processing do not fall within the categories for which designation is mandatory under Article 37 GDPR. For data protection enquiries, please contact us directly using the details in Section 1.

13. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time, including in response to legislative or technical changes. Updated versions will be published on this page with the date of the latest revision. We recommend reviewing this document periodically.

Information about cookies is available in our Cookie Policy. The terms governing use of the website are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
